Additionally, customers in select areas of Toronto and Vancouver can take advantage of same-day or next-day delivery for a fee of $15, available seven days a week for both residential and business addresses. These expedited delivery options are subject to inventory availability and applicable postal codes.
The Bay has different types of delivery methods. Parcel Delivery, In-Home Delivery, and Curbside Delivery. Parcel Delivery, delivered by postal carriers and available for standard-size merchandise, including apparel, shoes, cosmetics, and fragrances. Unless otherwise specified, all orders are parcel delivered. Items that are eligible for in-home delivery are going to be delivered to your home. The associate assisting you with your purchase will inform you of the delivery options available in your region and a window in which your product will arrive.
Curbside Delivery is for large items. Curbside delivery is not eligible for in-home delivery, including select furniture, major appliances, barbecues, select patio furniture, fitness equipment, and select outdoor play, which will be delivered to the curb at the end of your driveway or to an accessible location outside of your home by a third party freight forwarder.
Items sold directly by Hudson’s Bay are eligible for free returns both online and in-store. However, products sold by Marketplace sellers follow their own shipping and return policies and do not qualify for Hudson’s Bay return promotions.
If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you can return it in its original packaging, along with the receipt, to any Hudson’s Bay store that offers in-store shopping.
Alternatively, you can ship the item back to the warehouse. Returns or exchanges will not be processed without an original receipt or after the designated return period.

Certain large items, such as furniture, mattresses, major appliances, barbecues, patio furniture, fitness equipment, and select outdoor play items purchased through thebay.com, may be returned within 14 days for a refund to the original payment method. After 14 days, these items are considered final sale. Purchases made with a Hudson’s Bay Mastercard do not qualify for an extended return period. It is recommended to confirm an item’s return eligibility with a store associate before completing your purchase.
Most standard-sized items shipped via parcel delivery are eligible for return within 30 days of purchase for a refund to the original payment method, provided you have the original receipt. Accepted receipts include in-store receipts, online packing slips or order invoices, and transactional emails.
If you purchased standard-sized merchandise using a Hudson’s Bay Mastercard, you have 90 days to return the item for a full refund to your card, provided the original receipt is presented. Accepted receipts include in-store receipts, online packing slips or order invoices, and transactional emails.
When shopping at The Bay, using a Hudson’s Bay Mastercard or Hudson’s Bay Credit Card allows you to enjoy interest-free payments on select items, provided you meet the requirements, including making minimum monthly payments. A key benefit of these cards is the ability to double your rewards earning rate when shopping in-store. Depending on your Hudson’s Bay Rewards tier, you can earn up to 4 points per $1 spent.
They also accept PayBright which is for paying overtime for what you need in four easy, automatic payments. All payments are biweekly, interest-free and hassle-free. If you place an order over $35 and $1500 (after taxes and shipping) and proceed to checkout as you usually would. PayBright will automatically charge your credit or debit card in 4 biweekly payments.
