Designer Brands Inc. is an American company that sells designer and name-brand shoes and fashion accessories. It owns the Designer Shoe Warehouse (DSW) store chain and operates over 500 stores in the United States and an e-commerce website.
The company was founded in 1969 as Shonac Corporation, as the shoe licensee for Value City. In July 1991, the company opened its first store, which was in Dublin, Ohio. In 1998, the company was acquired by Value City. By 1999, the company had 48 stores.

Please note that it can take extra time for deliveries to reach remote locations and APOs/FPOs. Also, they occasionally delay randomly-selected shipments for extra security verification.
Some items offered on their website are available for pick-up in-store, including items available for Ship-to-Store (items shipped to a store of your choice for pickup in store). Not all items are available for this service nor is the service available in all stores. For same-day pickup, your order must be submitted by 6 p.m. local time or four hours before closing, whichever is earlier, and the item must be available at the selected DSW store.
Ship-to-Store items are not available for same-day pickup.

You can return goods to a DSW store in the United States or online at dsw.com for any reason within 90 days of the original purchase date, excluding anything designated as FINAL SALE. To get a full refund in the form of your original payment method, returns must be unworn, undamaged, and include the original packing slip or receipt (including PayPal).
A product credit equivalent to the current selling price will be given for returns made without the original sales receipt or pack slip if they are presented with a valid ID. The number of returns that are accepted without an original sales receipt or delivery invoice may be capped by DSW.
Gift receipts will be required for returns to get merchandise credit or even an exchange. Any monies credited upon return or exchange at dsw.com will be immediately given on the original mode of payment. The final purchase price will be returned for returns made using any DSW Rewards or incentives. Except for exchanges made the same day as the purchase, rewards, and incentives cannot be reissued or refunded.
Once they receive the product, please allow them 7 to 10 business days to process your return and provide a refund to your original mode of payment.
DSW Gold or Elite members receive free return shipping. The cost of return postage for all other customers, if you use their pre-paid return label, is $8.50 for any number of goods and will be subtracted from your refund.
DSW accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, and Afterpay. Afterpay is a service that allows you to make purchases now and pay for them in 4 payments every 2 weeks without any interest.
Simply shop online or in-store and add items to your shopping bag and checkout as normal. At the checkout choose Afterpay as your payment method. First-time customers will need to register with Afterpay and provide payment details.
Returning customers can simply log in to make their purchases. Please note that all items in your bag must be eligible for Afterpay or it will not appear as an option.
