Adele Laurie Blue Adkins, identified markedly as Adele, is a vocalist and lyricist who hails from Britain. She was raised in Tottenham, London and began singing at an early age, with her mother’s support for her career in music. Adele graduated from the BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology in Croydon in 2006.
Her first album, “19”, was released in 2008 and included the popular tracks “Chasing Pavements” and “Cold Shoulder”. The album got enormous acclaim and earned Adele multiple award nominations, including one for the Grammy’s Best New Artist. In 2011, she released her second album, “21”, which became a tremendous success. This album included the hit songs “Rolling in the Deep”, “Someone Like You”, and “Set Fire to the Rain”, and Adele was granted six Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album.
When Adele took a hiatus from her career, she used that time to focus on her personal life and give birth to her son, Angelo.
After a lengthy absence from the music industry, she returned in 2015 with her third album, “25,” which included the popular track “Hello.” This album was a major success for Adele, debuting in first place on charts across multiple countries, and earned her five Grammy nominations.
Her fourth album, “30,” was released in 2020, and saw immense success.
Adele is renowned for her soulful voice and her heartfelt lyrics. She has sold more than 150 million records worldwide and is regarded as one of the most successful musicians of all time.
